Based in Melbourne/Naarm, I am a multi-disciplined textile designer.  I value considered handcrafted design and connections between materials, memories and people.

Narratives, design and material choices are informed by my life experiences and ethos, expressed through detailed construction methods and surface transformation techniques.

As an ocean conservation volunteer I have witnessed the impact of plastic waste and ghost nets first-hand at sea.  These experiences underpin a sustainable and ethical textile practice that addresses environmental and social concerns through the reuse of waste materials and working with plant fibres.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Woi wurrung and Boon wurrung language groups of the Eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands I live and work.  I pay my respects to Elders past and present and their Ancestors.  I acknowledge all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and celebrate their stories, culture and connection to Country.
